Last night I went out with ashley: the chic-est girl, best time I've ever had in ages. Had a couple of drinks with the asian kids at this cute place in midtown. This girl is truly amazing, I love that we hadn't seen each other in months but we remain on the same page with the same views on the world, fashion, and people. Earlier in the day I stopped by Marc by Marc and bought a rubber tote and a bracelet with the words "between us" written in Latin (inter nos). And it was American Apparel day yesterday for i seemed to be bumping into all of my ex-coworkers. Nonetheless it was amazing to bump into allison & alex. I miss allison so much! It was lovely being able to talk to ashley about everything that has been going on in my head. Something that really intrigued me was how we both agreed that there was no scene in New York anymore; New York is no longer avant-garde, no longer the "it" place. It's really a shame. Our conversation went on from boys to commercialism and the corporate world, life, our futures and how were willing to eat ramen soup for dinner for the rest of our lives for the sake of fashion. Living for fashion rather than fashion to live!
